Are you called?
All of us are called by our baptism to be witnesses for Christ. But,sometimes we feel that God is calling us to something more.

Many of our priests and brothers say the desire to pursue a vocation came after realizing that their lives were calling them to something more. Many remember as young men, either in school or involved in careers, feeling there was more we could give to life and more we could get from life.

Priests and brothers in religious life are men who are aware of God's loving and active presence in the world. We see prayer as an opportunity to spend time in relationship with God. We know that God's Spirit is active deep within us and that true fulfillment and happiness is found by responding to the call to be one with God. We give our lives because God reaches out to the world through people who say yes to His call. We believe that how we live our lives does make a difference.

Consider Holy Cross...
If you’ve had some of these same feelings, you may be called to be a priest or brother. We invite you to consider the Congregation of Holy Cross.

Who are we? You’ll find out more about the history of the Congregation of Holy Cross in the About Us section.

Many paths bring people to Holy Cross. Men come at different times in their lives. The Director of Vocations is a priest who will help you make your decision about religious life. He and other Holy Cross priests and brothers will help guide and counsel you throughout the decision-making process.

The first step is to ask.
