The program for the temporarily professed takes place at Moreau Seminary at the University of Notre Dame. This program prepares students for professional ministry and provides ongoing formation in the religious life of Holy Cross.

Seminarians engage in full-time study for the Master of Divinity degree at Notre Dame, which includes theological studies, skills courses, and supervised ministry. They have the option of adding a Regency Year of full-time apostolic work during or after their theology studies.
